 Tenth Annual "Let Freedom Ring" Patriotic Concert

The Music Ministry of Outer Banks Presbyterian Church invites you to join us on Sunday, July 2, at 5 pm for our tenth annual Let Freedom Ring patriotic concert.

This musical presentation consists of song selections to celebrate our Country’s independence presented by a 70-voice choir and 17-piece orchestra. The Rev. Dr. Jody Moore will narrate along with Scout Troop #116 presenting the colours and carrying the flags representing each of the Armed Forces. Additionally, we will honor both active military and veterans with a special presentation.

Guest conductor, Kyle Cook, will direct the choir and orchestra for the performance. Kyle has been the choral director at Currituck and Moyock Middle Schools for the past four years as well as the conductor for the Outer Banks Chorus for the past two years.

Guest solo vocalists include; Pam Tanner, Elaine Reed, Kim LeClaire, Lew Gregory and Shannah Boone.

The orchestra will be comprised of: Steve Blackstock, organ; Jason Evans, piano; Cheryl Needham, keyboard; David Hopson, drums; Reid Stockdill, timpani; Tim Briggs, Electric Bass Guitar; Leslie Erickson, Shannah Boone, and Billy Tanner, violin; Sue Waters, viola; Suzanne Blackstock and Katie Blackstock Blanchard, flute; Christi Briggs, clarinet; Andy Moon, French horn; Pat McGee and Dylan Kruziki, trumpet and Bradley Schaefer, trombone.

We invite all to attend this moving patriotic presentation. Admission is free, and a freewill love offering will be taken. Nursery will be provided.
